All incoming First Year students and most transfer students are required to take one or more placement tests prior to the start of their first semester of study. Tests are taken on-line and are free of charge. The test link will be available on the student portal after approval. Testing requirements will depend upon a student’s college and major. First year students must complete their required placement tests prior to scheduling Orientation.
Test results are available to students three business days after test completion on their portal. Essay tests will take longer for results to become available. For more answers to your questions visit Placement Test Questions.
Note: The Office of Testing Services cannot answer questions related to course selection, AP or Transfer credits, retakes and readmissions. Please contact the academic advisor for your specific major for assistance with these types of questions.
