The Miller Analogies Test (MAT) is a 120-item test of higher-level reasoning skills, used primarily for admission to graduate studies in the liberal arts. The MAT is published by the Psychological Corporation of San Antonio, Texas, a division of Pearson Education, Inc.. For more information on the MAT, click here.

UIC’s Office of Testing Services (OTS) offers the computer-based version of the MAT to the general public. To register for the MAT, call the Office of Testing Services at (312) 996-0919.

OTS charges an administration fee of $85.00 for the MAT, which must be paid by personal check or money order made out to “UIC Office of testing services” at the time of testing. No cash or credit cards will be accepted.
