How do I schedule an exam?
Send us an email at testing@uic.edu to get started with scheduling your exam.

Is there parking or public transit available?
- The closest parking garage is located at UIC’s Harrison Parking Garage: 1100 West Harrison Street Chicago, IL 60607. Please visit UIC parking for more information on rates and accepted forms of payment.
- For CTA users, the Racine Blue Line train stop and the #7 and #60 bus stops are located outside our building. For Metra users, the Chicago Union Station is situated just 2 miles east of our campus.

Do I need an appointment or do you accept walk-ins?
You are required to have an appointment. We do not accept walk-ins.

What forms of payment do you accept?
We accept money orders and personal or cashier’s checks. We do not accept cash, credit card, or debit card.

Do you proctor or score UIC employment exams?
No, please contact UIC HR at 312-996-0840.

Can I bring food or water?
No, we do not allow food or water. Accommodations that allow water or food while testing must be forwarded within 48 hours of the scheduled appointment.

Can I bring my own laptop?
No, we will provide a computer for testing.

I am allowed an accommodation. What is needed for me to have my exam proctored?
- For UIC students, please contact the Disability Resource Center at 312-413-2183.
- For non-UIC clients, please have your institution send an accommodation letter listing out the academic accommodation(s) to testing@uic.edu. We only accept accommodation letters if they are sent directly from your institution or university.

Are face masks mandatory?
All examinees are required to wear face masks inside the testing center unless an accommodation is requested.

Is there a place to store my belongings?
Yes, our office offers free small lockers for examinees to store their belongings.
