An individual has 12 months from their date of program completion to successfully complete the competency exam. They are able to test three times. If a student is a “no show” for a scheduled administration, it does not count against the student. At the conclusion of a student’s test administration, there is a 3-day waiting period before they will receive unofficial results of the test. The official results of the previous weeks testing will be uploaded on the following Monday. Students can access their official results from the Health Care Worker Registry at https://hcwrpub.dph.illinois.gov.
